Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Magazine3. We try to keep it short and honest. Last updated: October 14, 2026.
What stays in your browser
Our name tools run in your browser. The names, keywords and topics you type are processed on your device. We do not send them to our servers and we do not store them.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. It records standard information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, browser and how visitors arrived. We use this to see which guides help people and which pages need work. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Cookies
Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar technology to tell visits apart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts you out of its analytics. At the time of writing, we do not run display advertising on Magazine3. If that changes, we will update this page first.
The contact form
Our contact form opens your email app with a message ready to send. We only receive what you choose to send. We use your message to reply to you and do not sell or share it.
Third parties and links
Our pages may link to other websites. We do not control their privacy practices. Please read their policies before you share information with them. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy terms.
Your choices
You can browse the tools without giving us any personal information. You can block cookies. You can also contact us to ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete an email you sent. We will respond as soon as we can.
Children
Magazine3 is a general audience site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal details, please contact us and we will delete them.
Information we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect payment details, because we sell nothing. We do not collect the names or words you type into our tools. We do not knowingly build profiles of individual visitors.
How we protect data
Our site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and our pages. We keep the amount of data we handle small, because data we never collect cannot be lost. Analytics data lives with our analytics provider and is protected under that provider's security practices.
How long analytics data is kept
Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in our analytics account. If you want to know the current setting, ask us through the contact page. We use the data only to understand traffic and improve the site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. These can include the right to ask what a site holds about you, to correct it, to delete it or to object to certain uses. Because we hold very little personal data, most requests are simple. Write to us and tell us what you would like. We may need to confirm who you are before we act.
Visitors from other countries
Our analytics provider may process data in countries other than your own. By using the site you accept that your visit data may be handled this way, subject to the law that applies to you. If you want to avoid analytics entirely, block cookies and tracking in your browser or use a privacy tool.
Questions and complaints
If you think we handled your information wrongly, tell us first and give us a chance to fix it. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Questions? Write to us through the contact page.
